"I
wanted to say a big thank you as I found in preparation for labour
your classes were brilliant and the most informative and practical
thing I did!"

"Baby
O arrived 25th February weighing 7lb 3oz. A big thank-you to you.
Your classes were the best thing I did to prepare for the birth. My
mantra was to "stick with the breath" and I managed just
to have gas and air. Thank you and I would love to come to the post-natal
classes."

"I have practiced yoga with Sally for
several years now and I can safely say I have enjoyed every class
I have attended. Sally is an encouraging, supportive, informal,
understanding and creative teacher. She manages to find an amazing
balance between serious practice and good fun. I would recommend
her class and her as a teacher to anyone. Thanks Sally."

tens only! Thank you for all your help and look forward to coming
to your postnatal classes"
Emma, Berkhamsted
"Had baby T three
weeks early. Birth was great, took one hour from admission to delivery
with just Yoga breaths and gas and air"
Anne, Tring
"Hi Sally, Just
wanted you to know that I had a little boy. Had to have emergency
c-section as baby breech. Breathing and postions helped so much
during early stages, couldn't have done it without them! Tom was
great too, so the partners workshop really worked, cant wait to
start post natal classes"

"Baby L born 2 weeks early and
absolutely perfect, had a good labour, 9 hours, no pain relief not
in tens machines. Definitely think the Yoga breathing and birthing
positions helped"

"Sally
has been my yoga teacher for more than three years. She is absolutely
honest, reliable and extremely competent. In devising a personal
yoga exercise plan for me she has helped me improve my posture,
core strength and overall fitness.
She is an excellent communicator
and motivator as well as being a calm and compassionate woman.
I would recommend her without hesitation."

"I was recommended to Sally's
Antenatal class by 4 other mums so decided it was a must to join.
When I first arrived a bit nervous as I had never done any yoga
in my life, Sally made me feel really comfortable and welcome and
sat me next to another mum with the same due date as me, we are
now best friends. It was such a relief to be amongst other pregnant
women and able to ask loads of birthing questions and not feel silly.
I was quite apprehensive about the birth but over the weeks Sally
gave loads of practical advice and birthing tips, always talking
about the positive experience of the birth and really making sure
everyone understood everything, especially the Breathing Techniques
and pelvic floor excersises. The day I went into labour I had no
nerves at all, just very excited, I had a 9 hour labour and only
used the Yoga Birthing Breath and Gas and Air at the end! I had
a very postive birth and a very mellow baby.
I would whole heartily recommend
Sally's Antenatal yoga class, the classes are friendly fun informative
and very positive. I attended the Postnatal classes to get my shape
and strength back and I am now joining again at 14 weeks with my
second on the way.
I also dragged a very skeptical
husband along to the Partner workshop, he thought it was amazing
experience and that he learned far more in that morning than he
had throughout any of the other Antenatal classes we had attended
together. He was brilliant at the birth so it did sink in."

"I first started coming to Sally's
classes when I was looking for a pregnancy yoga class during my 1st
pregnancy 2 years ago. The class was ideally located in the centre
of Berkhamsted and I signed up to start at 14 weeks pregnant. The
class was an excellent way of preparing both the body and the mind
for labour - the body by covering stretches, positions for labour,
optimal foetal positioning, breathing for birth etc, along with some
not too strenuous yoga; the mind by educating us on the stages of
labour, what is happening to the body during pregnancy and labour,
relaxation and visulaisation techniques etc, and of course some 'me
time' where I could focus on my baby. The classes are fun and a great
opportunity to meet other local mums-to-be. Sally also runs partner
workshops which is a great way to get your partner to practice some
massage on a tired pregnant body, and also learn how to support you
during labour. Sally also invites mums to come back to the class after
having had their baby to talk about their labour experiences - I found
this invaluable in terms of hearing it straight from the horses mouth
rather than reading about some theory in a book! The class was a winner
for me and I also have recommended it to several friends who have
got just as much out of it as I did. I am currently back in the pregnancy
class expecting my 2nd.
Following the birth of my first, I
went back to Sally's post natal class to get my body 'sorted out'
post pregnancy - this class focuses on toning abdominals and the
all important pelvic floor, as well as doing some yoga too! It's
a relaxed environment where you can bring along your baby (and feed,
nappy change etc) and quite a few of the exercises involve the babies
in some way, which they loved. If a baby was having a grizzle, Sally
didn't hesitate to pick it up and calm it down so you can still
focus on doing the exercises.
Once my little one got a bit too mobile
for the post natal class, I joined the Friday morning class - I
have been doing yoga for 13 years on and off and was keen to get
back to some 'proper' yoga. This class is a great blend of various
traditional yoga practices and was the perfect level of challenge
for me. The beauty of yoga is you can take as much or as little
from it according to your level and experience, and this class was
pitched perfectly to develop my practice and ability; although most
of the others in the class had been going for quite a while, I felt
quite at home and very welcome.
I have had a lot of yoga teachers
over the years and I can confidently say that Sally is one of the
best. She has a fantastic sense of humour, is an experienced and
capable teacher and the end result is a set of classes that are
both great fun and great yoga"

"I
was introduced to Sally by a friend following a routine medical where
I was advised to improve core strength for lower back, improve flexibility
and my parasympathetic response. Sally worked out a series of exercises
to do this, which coupled with relaxation techniques has proved to
be very helpful and I have become much more flexible.
An added benefit is her excellent
treatment of minor injuries incurred playing squash, which has enabled
me to continue playing when previously I would have been out of
action for longer or possibly given up."

"Me
and a group of friends desperately wanted to do yoga together, but
found it impossible to find a class which we could all attend at the
same time. I had been recommended Sally by my sister in law who had
been attending her classes for years and thoroughly enjoyed them.
I contacted Sally, we had an initial meeting and started the next
week at my home. Sally is a wonderful teacher, she is very reliable,
caring, very knowlegable of the body and yoga. I would recommend Sally
as a teacher to anyone who is interested in yoga, I always look forward
to her classes every week."

"Hi
Sally, Just want to say thank you for a lovely class today, I was
in a lot of pain this morning but now Im more or less pain free.
Your classes do me so much good, even though I find them hard! But
I guess thats good!?"
Hayley, Aylesbury
"Having done yoga on and off
for many years, I find Sally's classes to be truly amazing and very
beneficial. Not only does she have a very good knowledge of anatomy,
but always explains not only what muscles and organs are benefitting
from each exercise, but very precisely how to do each exercise correctly.
She pays great attention to detail and makes the classes very interesting
as well as giving a thorough workout for the body. In particular
I love the fact that she also works with the chakras and nadiis
so you get a spiritual and mental workout, as well as a physicial
one. I have tried other classes on the odd occasion, but always
come back to Sally, for me she is the only one!'"
